BisonHub Daily Updates- Important Registration Information

Fall 2024 Registration is underway and students are successfully navigating BisonHub and registering for classes.  The University recognizes that some students have experienced difficulties with the system and the data.  The BisonHub project team is actively working to resolve the issues and improve the student experience. 

The BisonHub Project team will provide Daily Updates to keep the community informed of our registration activity and engagement and the system corrections.  Click here to access the Daily Updates.  The Daily Updates can also be found on the What's New page on the BisonHub website.

BisonHub on the Go - Download the Workday Mobile App Today!

One of the major benefits of the BisonHub system is the ability to access the system anytime, anywhere.  BisonHub, powered by Workday, is a cloud-based system that allows users (students, faculty, and staff) to access the system on a mobile device.  Maximize your access and ease of use and download the Workday mobile app today.  Use the attached resource for directions on how to download the app and access BisonHub.

BisonHub Training for Students - Available Now!

Student Training for BisonHub (Workday) is now available.  We encourage all students to attend training so that you are ready to access the functionality in BisonHub and register for classes for the Fall 2024 semester!

BisonHub Quick Reference Guide for Students

Training for BisonHub will begin in March 2024.  We encourage all students to download the BisonHub Quick Reference Guide to get a head start on learning about BisonHub, the new virtual one-stop-shop for many Academic, Financial Aid, and Tuition payment actions. 

BisonHub will replace Bison Web.  Students will use BisonHub for the first time in March 2024 to prepare for the Fall 2024 registration period.  Students will still use Bison Web to register for classes in Spring and Summer 2024.

Faculty and Advisor Training - Available Now!

Faculty and Advisor Training for BisonHub (Workday) is now available.  We encourage all faculty (and faculty who have advising responsibilities) to attend training so that you are ready to access the new functionality in BisonHub!

Training for BisonHub will begin in February 2024.  We encourage all faculty to download the BisonHub Quick Reference Guide to get a head start on learning about the new functionality in BisonHub.

BisonHub will replace Bison Web. Faculty will continue to use Bison Web to view class rosters and submit final grades for the Spring and Summer 2024 semesters.  Starting in April 2024, faculty will view the class rosters for their Fall 2024 classes in BisonHub.

BisonHub At A Glance

Faculty & Staff

Howard faculty and staff currently use BisonHub powered by Workday for finance, human resources, procurement, and payroll, and will soon use it for student specific modules including Admissions, Advising, and Financial Aid. The implementation of the student-specific modules begins in Summer 2023 and culminates in Fall 2024.

Students

Howard students will begin to use BisonHub in Spring 2024 for advising and registration for Fall 2024 classes.  BisonHub will replace many of the functions currently available in Bison Web.
